About the show
British comic Russell Kane's entry into comedy was unplanned. He began performing standup after an office dare. In 2004, he went on to win the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year award. That same year, he was runner-up in the So You Think You're Funny competition. Kane has presented and appeared on various television shows, including Big Brother's Big Mouth (2007), I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here – Now (2009-11). He is also known for his “Kaneings” — topical online rants that have gone viral and amassed millions of views.
Kane also published his first novel, The Humorist, in 2012, which was nominated for a literary prize. He released his memoir, Son of a Silverback, in 2019.
